The report outlines Elder, community and health worker perspectives on community-led solutions to reduce suicide completions in the community. The two cases studies discuss the communities’ situations and factors that reduced suicide completions within each community. The authors aim to increase understanding of the impacts of colonisation and ‘outsider-led’ interventions to develop models and processes for community-led solutions to complex situations.
The Report contains 47 recommendations including a First Nations-led review of higher education, for Government consideration and aims to create a long-term reform plan for the higher education sector to meet Australia’s future skills needs.

The Barometer is a national, biennial survey that measures attitudes towards reconciliation across five domains - race relations, equality and equity, unity, institutional integrity, and historical acceptance.
A collaborative study between Reconciliation Australia and UNSW’s Indigenous Land and Justice Research Group School of Humanities & Languages, the research sought answers through a literature review, media survey, online surveys and in-depth interviews. Findings include important considerations for the planning and delivery of effective truth-telling initiatives; as well as uncovering what motivates First Nations and non-Indigenous people to get involved.
