EndNote 21

Use EndNote on Campus

UniSC network PCs generally have EndNote installed already (including all computer lab machines).

UniSC staff and research postgraduates: If your UniSC PC (or MacBook) does not appear to have EndNote installed, contact IT Services  (x1237) and they will deploy it to your machine.

To start EndNote:

Some campus computers will have an EndNote icon on the bottom taskbar. If not click Start and choose EndNote Program from the program list.

Install on Your Own Computer

You may install EndNote on your own PC or Mac as long as you are a current staff member or student at UniSC. To do so, you:

NOTE: You will be invited to sign up to EndNote Web as part of the installation process. This is optional and not strictly essential to most functions of EndNote; however, it is highly recommended you consider signing up, as:

  • it allows you to easily share references with colleagues (or students)
  • it can be useful if you are away from your computer but have internet access
  • allows you sync your EndNote library on multiple machines (including iPads)
  • speeds up the full-text retrieval feature
