Users need to register to download, print or save standards. Once the standard is downloaded, both Adobe Reader and FileOpen plugin are required to view the saved document.
The FileOpen plugin is not yet loaded on all USC devices. If you are using a USC networked PC or device, visit the Software Centre to download the FileOpen plugin before opening the PDF.
Standards are encrypted PDFs that cannot be uploaded to WebPrint or saved for longer than 48 hours. If you are on campus and wish to print the PDF, login into a USC workstation, download and open the PDF then print to the black or colour print queue.
Some users receive an error message when logging into Discover. The message reads: "The login process had failed. Please refer to the library for assistance. Sign out from the external authentication system".
The error is most likely due to an expired student ID card. Please request a replacement ID card (online form) and contact Student Central if you need assistance. Allow two (2) business days for access to be restored.
