An Australian English dictionary and thesaurus, updated annually, includes extensive usage notes, audio pronunciations, grammar and punctuation guides.
Britannica Academic This link opens in a new window
Encyclopedia with a range of additional reference works including World Atlas and Merriam-Webster dictionaries, lesson plans, articles, images, videos and other teacher resources (in the School Edition).
Reference resources include dictionaries, encyclopaedias, thesauruses, atlases etc. These are a good starting point for an assignment as they can help you to identify subject terminology/keywords and key concepts. Some reference sources (e.g. encyclopaedias) may give an introduction to a topic as well. Find them all in Discover e.g. search for dictionary.
