
You can create your own clips and save them to your own playlists from the Kanopy Streaming Service. You will need to create a personal user account first. A Kanopy account is free for UniSC staff and students. Go to the Library homepage - Databases - Kanopy
Go to the top right corner of the page and select Sign Up.

Create a user account before saving clips. You need to enter your name, email and create a password.

Clips are selected segments of video, which you can save as a playable clip.
Playlists are selected collections of whole videos or clips which you can save.
Why? You can use these clips to present in classes, embed in Canvas for assignments, learning opportunities and distance students, use for conference presentations, etc.

The main reasons a video doesn't play properly are:
Your computer settings may be incompatible with our system requirements. Check that you have cookies enabled in your browser and empty your cache periodically.
If you are off-campus, an organisational firewall may be preventing the video from playing. Contact your organisation's IT staff for help.
