Document Delivery (Doc Del)

Placing your Doc Del request

  1. Log in to the Library and search for the item.
  2. If the item does not appear in your results, select Expand results beyond UniSC Library.
  3. Find the item in the results and click on the title. (If no results - see Citation Search section below).
  4. Select the Document delivery request, fill in the additional information and select Request.
  5. Your request is now submitted.

If you are unable to locate the item in the Library Search, follow the steps below.

  1. Select Citation Search from the top menu.
  2. Enter as many details as possible and click Submit.
  3. Select the Document delivery request, fill in the additional information and select Request.

Track your request

Log into the Library to monitor progress on your document delivery request in the My Account. Click on Requests.

Delivery method

Article and book chapters will be supplied via email to your UniSC email account. Some material may be supplied under licence conditions which may prevent supplying to you in a digital format. If this is the case, the material will be made available in physical format for collection from your selected UniSC Library location.

Physical loans will be made available for collection from the library of your choice, as indicated at the time of requesting. The loan period on physical loans are determined by the lending institution and are not renewable.
