Before submitting a Document Delivery request or Inter-library loan request, please ensure you have:
If you require a digital scan of an item held by USC Library, please place a digitisation request via the library catalogue.
Many libraries in Australia and overseas have reduced their services in response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. This may limit USC Library's ability to obtain loans on print books from other libraries.
We will contact you if we are unable to provide the item you have requested. However, please consider requesting an individual chapter (copyright limits apply) from a book as an alternative to requesting the whole work.
USC Library document delivery and inter-library loan service may be used by eligible students & staff to obtain books, journal articles and other resources from external sources for use in research and scholarship activities when the item is not available from the USC Library collections.
If you are unable to locate the item in the Library Search, follow the steps below.
If you have any enquiries, contact Document Delivery
Log into the Library to monitor progress on your document delivery request in the My Account. Click on Requests.
Article and book chapters will be supplied via email to your USC email account. Some material may be supplied under licence conditions which may prevent supplying to you in a digital format. If this is the case, the material will be made available in physical format for collection from your selected USC Library location.
Physical loans will be made available for collection from the library of your choice, as indicated at the time of requesting. The loan period on physical loans are determined by the lending institution and are not renewable.
