Library hours

The library is accessible 24/7 but the collection is only accessible during the following opening hours.

Please note: The service desk closes 15 minutes before the Library.

Is the book you want on loan?

If the item you want is on loan to someone else, you may Place a Hold in the Catalogue and select your campus as the pick-up location.

Is the book you want at another campus?

If the item you want is available at another campus, you may Place a Hold in the Catalogue and select your campus as the pick up location.

Only need a chapter?

Find an eligible item in the Catalogue and request a Digitisation of one chapter from a book. The PDF will be emailed to you.

Note: all requests must comply with copyright regulations.

The friendly staff can help all library users with:

• using the Catalogue, DISCOVER, and the databases
• locating books and journals
• locating information online
• borrowing enquiries
• fines and overdue loans

Drop-in study support

Drop-in is the place to develop and extend your skills by accessing support staff, tutors and students to assist you as you learn.

Library spaces

The Fraser Coast library offers:

• 24/7 access to the library space
• individual and group study spaces (book online)
• wireless and power outlets throughout the library
• silent study area (please turn your mobile phone to silent when you enter this area)
• wheelchair accessible workstation
• printing, copying and scanning
• general public computer with limited access to databases and resources for non-USC staff and students
• a kitchenette for your convenience (please clean up after yourself)
