Many databases provide links to check whether the library has access to a particular journal that is not available in that database. Often these will appear as buttons or links.
Some library databases that provide links to journal availability include:
- American Psychological Association provides a button labelled "Article Linker"
- CABI DIrect provides a button labelled "Article Linker"
- Current Contents provides a button labelled "Article Linker"
- EBSCO provides a button labelled "Article Linker" and a link labelled "Search for Full Text"
- Infomit provides a button labelled "Article Linker"
- Proquest provides a button labelled "360 Link to Full Text"
- ScienceDirect provides an external link labelled "Check for full text in USC journals"
- Scopus provides a button labelled "360 Link to Full Text"
- Ulrichsweb.com provides a button labelled "Serial Solutions"
- Web of Knowledge provides a button labelled "Article Linker"
When you select the link or button, a new window will open with information about how to access the journal.
Not all library databases provide an article linker. If a link is not available, search for the journal title in Journal Titles. Only those journals which the library can access will appear.
