Australia

State Library of Queensland -Maps page: cartographic coverage of the world, with a major emphasis on Queensland and Australia. The collection includes topographic, cadastral, hydrographic and orthophoto sheet maps, as well as a unique and extensive range of historic maps and early real estate maps. Atlases, globes and street directories from around the world are also collected

Australian Census geography- Create a range of maps using the online tool and census data.

Queensland Development Assessment Mapping System - The Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (DILGP) provides mapping that spatially represents matters of state interest in the planning system through two GIS (Geographic Information Systems) platforms: the State Planning Policy Interactive Mapping System (SPP IMS), which is a standalone mapping system, and the Development Assessment Mapping System (DAMS), which incorporates mapping used for a number of different functions in development assessment.

Australian and New Zealand Map Society Inc (ANZMapS) - acts as a medium of communication for all those interested maps. 

Geoscience Australia provides free maps of Australia for you to download and use in reports, projects and as a reference source, provided that the Geoscience Australia copyright acknowledgement remains on the image.

National Library of Australia - Map Collection - includes maps from early European charts to current mapping of Australia.

NEARMAP- Commercial provider of high resolution geographic satellite imagery for business and industry (USC is not a subscriber but much free content is available).
